Linda Lam

I was born in Fleetwood and was running the family Hoi Kin Restaurant when I was just 14! I then made my first cocktail at the Kwok Man Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown and went to live in Hong Kong when I was 20.

I then taught English in Hong Kong and helped in our family seafood restaurant on Tap Mun Island in the NewTerritories.

I then returned to UK and worked at a cousins restaurant in Maidstone and then my brothers restaurant in Stirliing Scotland before I came to Manchester to work in Dynasty Cheadle Hulme, Summer Palace Hazel Grove before opening rainbow88 in 1999, which is now celebrating its 25th Anniversary

Steve Liu

Steve originates from Qingdao, a city located on the northeast coast in China, and has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, working in a variety of restaurants on a cruise ships before coming to England in 2004. Steve joined the business as a Partner in rainbow88 in 2017.
