Fundraising 2020 – In a dramatic year for everyone due to Covid-19, rainbow88 has continued to raise funds for great causes by any means possible.
Tiny Kitchen. One person. No problem!!
In addition to the great fundraising efforts in the past, I’ve been continuing the rainbow88 tradition from my tiny kitchen at home – cooking over 4000 meals for the vulnerable, self-isolating, NHS staff, Key Workers and all those who have lost loved ones or have gone the extra mile to help others. This effort has also been supported by the great team of bakers via Helping Hands Bramhall and has been supported by donated ingredients from local shops, friends and customers.
Although the vast majority of the 4000+ meals have been delivered completely free of charge, I’ve been requesting donations on Wednesdays and in just the last three weeks, have raised over £1000 for Chelwood Food-Bank and St Ann’s Hospice
